History: Shivering lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Engraver. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and to get a good night's sleep

Voice: Speaks like tongue is numb

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
