Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ar-Beka grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ar-Beka. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the north were limited. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: She tends to wear a black poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. Her bronze crest is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady gold eyes.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is an amazing painter.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and expand her business

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she wears a blue shirt, with a pastel mid length skirt with pastel tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. Her chestnut hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. Her violet eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Abalaba was born with her father's beautiful face. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Locksmith. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with broad hat. Her black hair is thinning but still full. Her brown unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and doesn't want to be a tanner and was forced into it by her family
