History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She takes great joy in being the best Sage in town.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gifted student she started as a Herbalist, but she got bored and became a Sage. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: This woman wears dull violet sweaters, loose green pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed halberd, just in case. She has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized aquamarine on her left hand. Her hair is short and red. She has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. The war was a terrible time for her, and Leshanna does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Leshanna was born with her mother's beautiful face. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He's also a talented Barber, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing his hectic life and new spy responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Naal lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son.
