The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sculptor.

Description: This fat southern woman has a bulbous nose and prefers to wear flannel. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. She has done her best to style her blonde hair to look like a famous performer. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Gurdis was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Banker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Banker work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Sculptor they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Banker, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Banker and was forced into it by her family.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Shoemaker but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gifted student he started as a Bookbinder, but he got bored and became a Dyer. He has worked as a Dyer like his father before him.
