History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His childhood dream was to be a Merchant, but he was a colossal failure. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She was born in a small plains village. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and she's in love

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
