History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Through the years after Aust was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Aust's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Ranala was born the youngest of three triplets. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered east to less war torn lands. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out
