Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Cook profession.

History: The child of a Cook, who enjoyed hunting, Bertram was taken on many hunting expeditions. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mortician. He became a Mortician soon after.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Being a Cartwright kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: She got into the Junk Dealer business at a young age. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Dalaba alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
