History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. During her travels, Merla and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Merla discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Merla fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: She was born in the north. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bellfounder. She has achieved small success as a Bellfounder.
