History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Luthra grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Mamnen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Scribe for hire.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new scribe responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bricklayer and was forced into it by her family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. She usually doesn't wear a shirt. She wears a broad hat to hide her balding. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her silver eyes.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Through the years after Semyaza was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Semyaza's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and to end her boredom

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Damakos lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Butcher.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
