History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Curran was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Soapmaker. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Tanner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Tanner work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Tanner for hire.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Portia has worked very hard to control her curse. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
