She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Gifted from a young age, Ekk studied abroad. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Baker they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Healer, and she later adopted a second son.

She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Jarana was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
