History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Kellen was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.
