History: Jak was born with his mother's beautiful face. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Jak's homeland. Jak decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Navigator.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: This woman wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. She has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amber on her right hand. Her black hair, when down, is lengthy. Her fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her parents enrolled her in a Fighter school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Malquis never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away
