History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.

Her eyes are hazel and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Herleva was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 57. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Vanuath grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Vanuath. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact
