History: She got into the Adventurer business at a young age. Havilar was born on a far southern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Adventurer. She became a Adventurer soon after.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

History: He was born into a rich family. Through the years after Manfred was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Manfred's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
