Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Assassin. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Finellen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
