Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. Balam enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and retire the richest man in the north

Description: She is lean but muscular and dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head. Her white hair is smooth and relatively long. Her eyes are a pleasant red.

She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and wants to raise her children well

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
