History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Dara was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. A gifted student he started as a Jeweler, but he got bored and became a Banker. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Art never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
