History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Soapmaker. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Soapmaker.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

His hair is long and brown with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is white, braided, and well cared for. His skin is flawless and his gray eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Born in the south to a Tanner, Qualen learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
