History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north; and she desires power and/or immortality

History: Portia lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Engong was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
