History: Ea was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Shepherd. She has worked as a Shepherd like her father before her.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Gardener arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. After a long history of fighting, Katherine and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she feels threatened by others

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: She was born in the east. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.
