Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and human compassion

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Tana was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Tana's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Tana and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting giants, the young Balam began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Balam was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it.
