History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Ella took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor she uses now. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Clerebold hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: Veit was born the youngest of three triplets. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
