History: Born in the north to a Spy, Baern learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She worked as a nervous Animal Trainer and found it very stressful. She tends to her Animal Trainer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Born to a Armorer, her father struggled to pay the bills. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Merchant. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Merchant for hire.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac
