Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying north to reunite her family. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

Description: She dresses like a well dressed Fortune-teller does, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'9" when asserting herself. Her red hair is matted, messy, and big. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She worked as a nervous Fortune-teller and found it very stressful. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing her hectic life and new fortune-teller responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Tethren will drive conversation. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born into a rich family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Tethren never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.
