After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sailor they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Layabout, and he later adopted a second daughter.

The war was a terrible time for her, and Bryseis does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.
