Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Avice fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: This tall, slender woman prefers to wear flannel. Her long silver hair reaches down to her waist. Her hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hadwisa embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. The war was a terrible time for her, and Hadwisa does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she loathes her own lifestyle

Description: She dresses well, wearing white shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time, and carries maces. Her hair is brown, silky, and of moderate length. Her fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Abad was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Abad's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he's repulsed by the pc
