History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Through the years after Fargas was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Fargas's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Griselda was born on a far western plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Bather. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
