History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barber hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Zephan was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Laucian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and balancing his hectic life and new gardener responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He takes great joy in being the best Detective in town.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Gilkass hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her necromantic talents. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: Born in the east to a Painter, Flask learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Flask's homeland. Flask decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She's also a talented Weaver, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
