History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. In her 19th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gillyd embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Through the years after Gillyd was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gillyd's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion
