History: He was born in the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Ghaliver's homeland. Ghaliver decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Description: 5'2" and muscular, this eastern man wears bulky brown painted plate armor. With bright golden hair and a scraggly beard. His violet unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: William lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. William grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did William. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Personality: Fragrant is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was born in the south. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and she is greedy

Description: He is lean but muscular and typically wears yellow cloth garments or leather armor. His tied-back hair is blonde. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and retire the richest man in the west

Description: She stands about 6'8" and prefers to wear black clothing when she does not wear armor. Her left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. Her gold crest is drawn into a tight pony tail with a cross scrunchie. Her skin is flawless and her red eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born to a Crown-heir, her mother struggled to pay the bills. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Brewer and was forced into it by her family.
