He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Being a Unemployed kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Born to a Banker, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and wants to raise her children well

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and she desires power and/or immortality
