History: Callybon was born with her father's beautiful face. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and many brigands want her driven away

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rael grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

His blue eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed pastel hat.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Shadow lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Shadow was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Shadow's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
