Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a chocolate of some kind. He tends to wear a tan poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt, marred by chocolates. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. He has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Orryn was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Born in the north to a Blacksmith, Gormogord learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Gormogord was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She wears a green costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on her torso. Her crest is greying and her face has many wrinkles. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines gold.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Guard. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 6 years.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes goblins are coming to abduct people. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Hecat was born with her mother's beautiful face. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her mother's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered goblins who tried to eat her hand. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and many goblins want her driven away

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His first spouse was a Bounty Hunter, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to end his boredom
