History: Born in the west to a Layabout, Ekemon learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Fortune-teller. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.
