History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Efferil grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. After a long history of fighting, Efferil and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Quick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Shaena wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Druid, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Azzakh was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and doesn't want to be a sellsword and was forced into it by his family
