Personality: Patrick hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: Born to a Brewer, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Herbalist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and she loathes her own lifestyle

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and she would like to get married and retire

Description: With brown face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a brown coat. His auburn hair and beard is wavy and long. His eyes are blue and beady.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Trym enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. Her hair is silver and curly. Her silver eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Anakis hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anakis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
