History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Naivara hails from a village terrorized by giants. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Naivara and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she wants revenge against giants

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His tied-back hair is white. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Ulfgar was born the youngest of three triplets. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and tends to wear a brown poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair is golden and curly. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: Expand his business.

She keeps her black hair in a flapper bob. Her hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
