History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: She is a small woman, but exceptionally fit. She wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). Her chestnut hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a card scrunchie. Her blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Banker profession.

History: She was born in a small desert village. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. Being a Spice Merchant kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and to be a banker again

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: The light-skinned man stands 2'10" and wears a white tunic with brown highlights, and long violet pants that bunch up around his shoes. His long auburn hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is a Merchant first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He's also a talented Bellfounder, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Merchant and was forced into it by his family; and sabotage a competitor
