She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Qualen has worked very hard to control his curse. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Blacksmith but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

History: Valafar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Valafar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Glassblower arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
