History: Shifting was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She found a children's book about a Elf Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
