History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when she was still a young child. The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Blacksmith. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Blacksmith.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. The war was a terrible time for him, and Thervan does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: Rinn hails from a village terrorized by goblins. She worked as a nervous Performer and found it very stressful. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
