He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her.
