History: Emerald was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. A freak accident while working with her Fletcher mother left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
