History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Efferil was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A gifted student he started as a Dyer, but he got bored and became a Spice Merchant. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Dyer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Spice Merchant, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Spice Merchant and was forced into it by his family; and to end his boredom

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Miner business.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
