He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Stableman for the past few years.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and she is wracked by social anxiety
