Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Arjhan is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Arjhan hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Sun hails from a village terrorized by orcs. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.
