Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Doctor they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bather, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Gifted from a young age, Trynnicus studied abroad. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Trynnicus was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Personality: She hates giants. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. After months of barely getting by, Sekhmet managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
