Description: He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a black coat. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His hair is short and black. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Morthos grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Morthos. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: She wears brown painted combat armor at almost all times. She is physically well-built. Her top hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: Hlin is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.
History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and to end her boredom

Description: She dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. She wears her chestnut hair up. This hazel eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.
History: She was born in a small mountains village. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Jo took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up scythe and armor she uses now. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and wants to raise her children well

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She plays an instrument quite well.
History: Cecily hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Cecily was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He sports a flattop hair cut. His eyes are a pleasant amber.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Thomas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Rogue, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Rogue in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Knight they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Brewer, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and further expansion of business
