When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Portia was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Portia's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born in the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Description: She dresses in black turtlenecks beneath a violet coat with blue slacks, and carries sickles. She has done her best to style her copper crest to look like a famous performer. Her half smiles and gold eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Arava was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Whurbin hails from a village terrorized by giants. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and he wants revenge against giants
